Subaru Share the Love Event

Subaru World of Newton
84 Hampton House Road
Newton, NJ 07860
(855) 582-8640

Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice was honored to have been chosen as the local recipient of the Share the Love event for 2015.

SUBARU SEVENTH ANNUAL “SHARE THE LOVE” CHARITY EVENT SET NEW DONATION RECORD!  Subaru World of Newton donated $21,000 to the Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice as part of the company’s seventh annual Subaru Share the Love event.

From November 20, 2014 to January 2, 2015, Subaru donated $250 for every new Subaru vehicle sold or leased to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice.

In addition to the four national organizations, Subaru retailers once again have the opportunity to add a local charity for their customers to support. This year, 608 hometown charities have been selected by Subaru retailers. With Subaru retailers also making their own donations to local charities, total donations will be well in excess of the $15 million committed by Subaru of America.

The sales growth experienced by the brand in recent years means that by continuing to donate $250 per vehicle sold during the program, total charitable contributions will likewise increase, this year to $15 million.

James Foley, the northern New Jersey district sales manager for Subaru Distributors Corp., explained that the fundraiser was enacted nationally seven years ago.  This is the dealership’s second year participating in the event, said Foley, who noted that last year’s local charity received around $12,000.
